Cheap Places for Dates

In the old days, most people would take their dates to expensive restaurants or diners, where they would spend possibly a month’s salary for a chance at a young man or woman. Times have changed, however, and the dating scene has moved to cheaper, more casual places. This is especially great for teenagers, who often are on tight budgets and cannot afford expensive dinners with their partners.

One of the most common places to take a date is the movies. Movie theaters are very common throughout the United States, so it usually does not take a long drive to find a theater. Once in the theater, the dark setting of the movie is perfect for couples, allowing them to cuddle in private and watch the movie together. Often, the man will pretend to yawn halfway through the movie and "accidentally" place his arm around his girlfriend, bringing them closer together. Scary or action movies also provide the woman an opportunity to hold onto her man for comfort, giving both genders great excuses to shuffle closer together and end up in each other’s arms.

Another common place for dating is an amusement park, which is often great for young, fun-filled couples. These tend to be more casual, where the amusement park rides and games provide fun for both genders. On the ride, women often hold their date’s hand for comfort, only to beat him five minutes later in the basketball shooting game. Simply standing in line waiting for a ride is also a great chance to talk to your date, and it helps to see the numerous other couples who came to the amusement park as well. Amusement parks can be even better at night, when the glowing lights of the rides and buildings become dazzlingly beautiful, and there are times in which the man can sneak his arm around his date.

While some people may find the movies and amusement parks great places to bond, some may wish for a more private place. The park is always a nice place for an outing, and a simple picnic can be as romantic as an extravagant dinner. Couples often lie on the grass together looking up at the sky, talking about deep thoughts or simply pointing out that a passing cloud looks like an animal. Parks are often free and have beautiful landscapes, making them one of the cheapest places to escape the world with your date. It is also common for couples to frolic through the meadows or roll around in the grass when in the park, providing child-like fun that will make the date a blissful, perfect outing.

Time has told that it does not take thousands of dollars at the most expensive five-star restaurant in order to impress your date. For those who do not have or simply are not willing to spend extravagant amounts of money, there are numerous other options in the vicinity, waiting for couples to attend. These choices can often provide even a better experience than a dinner, as they show the date that fun is still possible without money.
